“90” Wine Spectator, March 28, 2011
Elegant and detailed, with dried berry, spice and mineral flavors, this medium-weight red is successful for its subtle flavor notes. Drink now through 2016. 1,532 cases made. —J.L.
"90" Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/June 2011
Vivid red. Pungent, high-pitched raspberry and strawberry liqueur aromas, with a suave floral nuance. Appealingly sweet on the palate, with expansive red and dark berry flavors and a late note of blood orange that carries through the tangy, precise finish. Tannins are ripe and dusty. I like this wine's energy.
